Reuben Hiku

Reuben Hiku

Reuben has been a self employed cleaner for twenty two years, initially undertaking large commercial cleaning contracts. After a period of time he specialised in window cleaning and has traded as Absolute Cleaning Ltd for the past 13 Years. He has always brought to his buisness the qualities of being conscientious, trustworthy and reliable – this has allowed him to have a loyal and long standing cleintelle.  The Christchurch Earthquakes severely tested his resiliance, it resulted in his losing over half his customer base. Being loyal to Christchurch however, moving was not an option and so Reuben dug in, like all good Cantaribians did, and built his business back up again. He is a good communicator and as a family man he understands that in some circumstances discretion is paramont. Reuben has excellent time management skills and is highly regarded for his punctuality and relaibility.

Paul Tait

Paul Tait

Along with his father-in-law, Paul bought a window cleaning business in 1987, which they ran together until Paul’s father-in-law retired. At this stage, Paul introduced commercial cleaning and spider proofing to the business to meet the needs of his growing customer base. This was a successful enterprise until the devastating Christchurch earthquakes when Paul lost approximately 70% of his business. Looking for new opportunities, Paul bought a glass restoration franchise which specialised in removing scratches from glass and hard water stain removal. This enabled Paul to gain a greater knowledge of the glass industry which he now applies to the services he provides through Absolute Cleaning. Paul is honest and reliable and Absolutes’ clients enjoy his sense of humour.
